My husband has been working so hard lately…  We rarely see him before 8pm (he just pulled in as I am typing this and it is 9pm), but we know that he is working hard to provide for us.  I just hope that it pays off better soon.

He dosen’t read what I write here, but I just wanted to throw out a little ‘I love you’.  Because I don’t know where I would be without you, and I can’t imagine my future without you either.  It has been seven and a half years of fun, and I can’t wait to see what the next decade brings us.

Being home with a baby while hubby works can be lonely. It’s good you can stop and remember that he’s doing it for all of you. Enjoy your time together. My husband worked crazy hours when my kids were little. Now he is working evenings (editor at a newspaper) so he is home all day and gone as soon as the kids (now teenagers) get out of school. I think he planned this. The easy life because he gets to avoid all this teenage angst. But we get to spend some one-on-one time whenever I’m not teaching during the day, which is nice too.

It does get a little lonely, but we keep busy! I am enjoying it though as at some point I am going to have to find a job or go back to work! 😦 The teenage years can be rough I imagine, thinking back to mine… We get a little one-on-one time in the evenings. But for the moment that is just fine, I am sure before we know it she won’t need us so much and we will miss the hours spent cuddling up with a sweet smelling baby!
